Recap: Advertising Genius Lee Tae Baek Episode 1
Yay for a slew of new dramas reporting just when I’m in the mood for a recapping change. I’m still kinda sad School 2013 ended because I could always count on Mon-Tues for my drama fix for the past 2 months and even though I’m thoroughly enjoying FBND now(caught up to the latest episodes over the weekend), it’s not exactly crack to me. School 2013 reminded me why I like jdoramas – the underdog settings, despite its slightly preachy content. I loved School 2013 even though there were no loveliness and every episode managed to reduce me to tears (or at least little sniffles now and then). I did browse through the latest jdorama list but nothing attracts me (I welcome any recommendations :P), but I guess it’s back to kdramas for me. Heh.
If there is one thing TGS recapping experience taught me, it’s to be brief in my recaps. I’m still upset to have dropped that project, but really I’d rather be recapping something I genuinely like. Advertising Genius Lee Tae Baek seems like a drama with potential and I’m not adverse to any of the leads, so I decided to check this out to see if I’d like it. Workplace drama tends to be boring but I did enjoyed Baby-faced Beauty, so I’m keeping faith that with the advertising industry as its background, they will come up with some impressive material and wow me.

Recap (text only) : I Love Lee Tae-ri Episode 2
I'm still iffy about this drama and it doesn't help that I'm not invested in the characters yet. But I have to concede that even QIHM took me 3 episodes to be on board so I'll just go with the flow and hope to be entertained. Kim Ki-bum actually looks 14 here!

Recap (text only) : I Love Lee Tae-ri Episode 1
*This is a repost of the recaps...without screencaps, hopefully the DMCA stay off my back this time. I apologize if the recaps are confusing. Usually I use the screencaps to save me from descriptive narrations.
I checked out the first episodes of some of the new premiering dramas and while I was not significantly drawn to any of them (I totally blame QHIM for that!), I thought I'd share a short introduction on the lesser publicized (compared to AGD and Dr.Jin anyway) drama from tvN which is taking over from the Wedding Scheme Mon-Tues slot.
Alert: I Love Lee Tae-ri's recaps suspended
I'm sorry to announce that I Love Lee Tae-ri's recaps will be temporarily suspended. That is because of a very unexpected notification I received recently.

This is the first time I've encountered this problem so I'm not really sure what I should do about it other than suspending the related posts. Or you know, risk being sued or something. Though I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out which part of my posts have allegedly infringe on the copyright of others. It can't be the screencaps (I took those myself) since tons of those have appeared online. Is it my recap? But it's just my translation of the drama! And the funniest thing is - it's only the ILLTR recaps. All other post are not affected. IS it TvN or the idols' management? If anyone knows anything about this, please enlighten me. TQ.
SIGHHHH...

Recap: The Chaser Episode 1
I've heard only GREAT comments about The Chaser but surprisingly it was not recapped anywhere. I suppose at the end of the day, there was just not enough pretty (faces) to attract the interest of the audience (outside of Korea anyway - it did very well with the Korean audience). The funny thing is, I never had the urge to check it out until I saw Haha bumping into Son Hyun-joo on Running Man. And then, Kim Sang-jung and Jang Shin-young became the guests for one of the episodes. And even though they played loosen-up versions of their characters, I find both of them indescribably magnetic and arresting. So here I am hopping on the bandwagon trying to find out what is it about The Chaser that made it such a big success.
